Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface, open the door, and remove any interior trim or fasteners that obstruct the weatherstrip channel.
- Carefully pull out the old weatherstrip and remove any remaining adhesive, clips, or debris from the door flange and channel.
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or adhesive cleaner; allow it to dry completely.
- Test-fit the new weatherstrip along the door edge to confirm orientation and required length; trim excess material if necessary.
- If adhesive is recommended, apply a thin, even bead to the mounting flange or the weatherstrip channel per adhesive instructions.
- Starting at one end, press the weatherstrip firmly into the channel, working along the full length and ensuring the bulb seals seat evenly.
- Use masking tape or clamps to hold the seal in place while adhesive cures (follow adhesive cure time).
- Reinstall any removed trim or fasteners, close the door, and check for uniform contact and smooth operation; adjust as needed.
