Instructions:
- Prepare the work area and wear protective gloves.
- Clean the pinch weld and mating surfaces with isopropyl alcohol; ensure surfaces are dry and free of old adhesive or debris.
- Test-fit the glass to determine recommended block locations; consult vehicle-specific service data for OEM positions when available.
- Place the setting block on the body or glass at the chosen locations. If needed, trim the block carefully to match the specified height using a razor knife.
- Lower the glass onto the blocks, centering it within the opening and checking gaps with a feeler gauge or straight edge.
- Adjust block position as necessary to achieve even gaps and correct alignment. Use masking tape to hold the glass in place temporarily if required.
- Proceed with full adhesive application and final securement per adhesive manufacturer's and vehicle service instructions.
- Allow the adhesive to cure to the recommended time before removing supports and returning the vehicle to service.
