New reproduction front fender for the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. Each fender is manufactured on our new tooling and features original body lines, braces, marker light holes, and headlamps buckets. Like all AMD parts, these fenders arrive in a black EDP Coat finish and will require standard prep work prior to paint.
Please note: These fenders will require two holes to be drilled for the installation of the headlamp bezel. This will allow for correct placement of the headlight bezel and avoid fighting with improperly placed holes. These fenders will also require modification where the bumper filler meets the fender below the headlight. With the fender mounted and the header panel in place, the holes for the bumper filler can be located and drilled to accept a sheet metal screw.
Auto Metal Direct is a team of true car guys with years of experience in sheet metal reproduction, car restoration and paint/body work. We believe that quality is not subjective! Our mission is to provide the best customer experience for the Ford, Mopar and GM classic car markets - both in products and in service.
Our panels are made from proper gauge steel and include all correct-as-original clips, tabs, flanges, bends and seams. Each time a prototype body panel comes off of a new tooling, we test fit it on a car. The marked up prototype is then used to change and improve the tools, and a new prototype is produced. This procedure might be repeated multiple times but, once the part is finally approved, you can be assured of a quality part.
