Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, set parking brake, and disconnect battery if required by vehicle service manual.
- Protect interior surfaces with drop cloths. Remove windshield trim, molding, and rearview mirror per vehicle procedure.
- Score and cut away the old urethane and remove the damaged windshield using suction cups; have an assistant help with glass removal.
- Thoroughly clean the pinch weld and bonding flange; remove old adhesive, rust, and debris. Dry the area completely.
- Apply primer to bare metal per urethane manufacturer instructions and allow to flash/dry as directed.
- Prepare the new laminated glass by cleaning mating surfaces and applying glass primer where specified by adhesive instructions.
- Load urethane into the caulking gun and apply a continuous, even bead to the vehicle flange or to the glass (follow adhesive maker recommendations).
- Using suction cups, position the new windshield carefully and seat it into the urethane bead, ensuring even contact and proper alignment.
- Reinstall exterior and interior mouldings or trim, secure fasteners to specified torque, and tape glass in place if recommended during cure.
- Allow adhesive to cure for the time specified by the urethane manufacturer before driving; clean glass and check for leaks after cure.
