Instructions:
- Confirm correct part number (DL01105 GTN) and vehicle fitment before starting.
- Park vehicle on a level surface and disconnect the battery if airbags are present.
- Remove exterior and interior trim surrounding the windshield using trim tools.
- Carefully cut and remove the old windshield sealant using a removal knife, then lift out the old glass with suction cups.
- Clean the pinch weld and bonding surface thoroughly, removing old adhesive, rust, and contaminants; wipe with isopropyl alcohol.
- Apply primer to bare metal surfaces and to the windshield mounting flange per adhesive manufacturer instructions; allow to flash as directed.
- Load urethane adhesive into caulking gun and apply a continuous bead around the pinch weld per OEM bead profile.
- With two people and suction cups, set the new DL01105 GTN windshield into position, aligning clips and moldings; press firmly to seat into the adhesive.
- Reinstall trim and any removed components. Use painter's tape to hold the windshield in place if recommended.
- Allow adhesive to cure per adhesive manufacturer and vehicle manufacturer recommendations (typically a minimum of 1 hour for light movement, up to 24 hours before highway driving).
- Perform a water leak check and reinstall/verify any sensors, cameras, or wipers as needed.
