This OER reproduction grill assembly designed to replicate the 1970-72 Plymouth Valiant, Duster, and Scamp grill. Each grill is injection molded as original and designed to exact specifications of the original. This grill is molded in black plastic as original, featuring a black surround and argent silver painted grill bars. This grill assembly includes center grill , upper and lower grill molding, park lamp lenses and gaskets, park lamps bezels, park lamp sockets and pigtails, park lamp bulbs, and lower grill retaining clips for easy "bolt-in" installation.
There were several color variations of this grill produced by the factory between the years of 1970-72. This particular grill is unpainted, and features a black surround, and black grill bars (molded-in color) as utilized on most 1972 Plymouth A-Body vehicles (except Duster 340 which utilized the Sharktooth grill ). The black coloration of the grill surround and grill bars is cosmetically correct for the 1972 model year, but the grill will also fit all 1970-72 Plymouth A-Body models for a custom blacked-out high performance look.
Important: The park lamp pigtails supplied with this kit are the 3-blade 1971-72 style pigtails. To use on 1970 Plymouth Valiant, or Duster models, the plug will need to be modified or wires spliced. Other than that, it is bolt-on replacement for 1970 models.
