Each glass is manufactured to correct factory specifications featuring the correct curvature for an authentic appearance, and fit. Most vehicle door, quarter, and vent window glass is made from tempered glass; this is because tempered glass shatters into small, dull pieces when broken, reducing the risk of injury in a crash, making it the preferred safety option for vehicle side door or quarter window glass.
