Instructions:
- Park on level ground, set the parking brake and open the hood.
- Remove windshield wiper arms and any cowl top trim or plastic covers that obstruct the cowl ends per vehicle service procedure.
- Carefully remove the old cowl end seals by releasing clips or removing fasteners; use trim tool or pliers as needed.
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or recommended cleaner to remove dirt, old adhesive and debris; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new seals to confirm orientation and clip/fastener alignment before final installation.
- If the original installation used adhesive, apply a small bead of automotive-grade silicone adhesive to the mounting flange as recommended.
- Install the new seals by aligning with the mounting holes and pressing clips or fasteners into place until fully seated.
- Reinstall the cowl trim and windshield wiper arms, tighten fasteners to fit (refer to vehicle torque specs if available).
- Close hood and perform a water test (gentle hose spray) to check for proper sealing and make adjustments if any leaks are observed.
