A 4-piece left and right beltline molding kit designed to replace worn or damaged beltline trim and restore the vehicle's exterior finish. These moldings protect the door- and quarter-panel edges from chips and abrasion, help secure window weatherstripping, and improve overall alignment and appearance. Constructed from durable, corrosion-resistant materials, the set provides a long-lasting, reliable replacement that’s easy to fit and finishes the vehicle with a near-factory look — ideal for restoration projects and routine maintenance.
Features:
- 4-piece left and right beltline molding kit for full door/quarter support
- Durable, corrosion-resistant construction helps resist weathering and rust
- Protects paint and underlying panels from chips and abrasion
- Helps secure window weatherstrips and reduces wind noise and vibration
- Direct-fit replacement designed to restore OEM appearance
- Simple installation with common hand tools; suitable for restoration or maintenance
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and fully lower the windows where applicable.
- Carefully remove the old beltline molding: use a plastic trim tool to pry away the molding and release any clips; remove fasteners if present.
- Clean the mounting flange thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or a suitable cleaner to remove old adhesive, dirt, and grease. Allow to dry.
- Compare old and new pieces to confirm fit and orientation for left/right and front/rear placement.
- If new moldings use retained clips, transfer or install clips to the new molding per the clip locations. If adhesive tape is used, remove backing and prepare to position.
- Align the new molding at one end, then press firmly along the length to engage clips or adhesive. Use masking tape to hold pieces in place if needed while securing.
- Reinstall any screws or trim pieces removed during disassembly. Check window operation and door closure for interference.
- Allow any adhesive to cure per adhesive manufacturer recommendations (if applicable) before exposing to moisture or high-speed driving.
