Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and lower the quarter window slightly (if applicable) to access the channel.
- Carefully remove the old weatherstrip: pry out retaining edge with a trim tool or screwdriver and cut any stubborn sections with a utility knife.
- Clean the channel and surrounding area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or solvent to remove old adhesive, dirt, and grease. Allow to dry.
- Dry-fit the new seal into the channel to confirm orientation and fit. Trim excess length if necessary, following the original seal profile.
- Apply a thin, even bead of automotive weatherstrip adhesive into the channel or to the seal as recommended by the adhesive manufacturer.
- Starting at one end, press the seal into the channel, working along the length and ensuring the seal seats fully into the channel lip. Use painter's tape or clamps to hold the seal in place as you work.
- Wipe away any excess adhesive immediately. Ensure the corners and ends are firmly seated and aligned with the window glass.
- Allow adhesive to cure per the adhesive manufacturer's instructions before operating the window or driving the vehicle.
