A precision-fit right-hand door weatherstrip designed for 1967 2-door sedans. This seal restores the original door edge contact to prevent water intrusion, wind noise, and dust while improving cabin comfort. Molded from durable, ozone- and UV-resistant EPDM rubber, it offers long-term reliability and maintains a factory-like appearance. Ideal for restorations and routine replacements, the seal installs with common hand tools and provides a secure, vibration-reducing barrier that protects interior trim and window channels.
Features:
- Fits 1967 2-door sedans — right-hand (passenger side) door
- Made from durable EPDM rubber resistant to ozone, UV, and temperature extremes
- Seals door perimeter to prevent water leaks, wind noise, and dust ingress
- Restores factory fit and reduces vibration for improved cabin comfort
- Simple retrofit for restoration projects or routine replacement applications
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and lower the window for better access.
- If necessary, remove the interior door panel or trim clips to expose the old weatherstrip.
- Carefully peel away the old weatherstrip and remove any remaining adhesive or debris from the channel using rubbing alcohol and a clean rag.
- Test-fit the new weatherstrip along the door edge to confirm orientation and length; trim excess if required.
- If adhesive is required, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel or to the seal per the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions.
- Starting at one end, press the new weatherstrip firmly into the channel, working along the length to ensure full contact. Use masking tape or spring clamps to hold the seal in place where needed.
- Check door closure and alignment, making minor adjustments so the seal seats evenly without pinching.
- Allow adhesive to cure fully (follow adhesive cure time), then reinstall any removed door panel or trim and test for leaks and wind noise.
