Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and wear gloves to protect hands.
- Carefully pry up the windshield molding or trim using a plastic trim tool to avoid scratching paint or glass.
- Remove any remaining old clips from the molding or body channel using needle-nose pliers or a flathead screwdriver; apply penetrating oil if clips are corroded.
- Clean the molding channel and body flange of dirt, adhesive residue, and corrosion with a rag and appropriate cleaner; allow to dry.
- Compare a new clip to an original to confirm orientation and engagement features.
- Position each new clip onto the molding lip or into the body channel as required—push until you hear or feel a positive snap indicating full engagement.
- Re-seat the molding into the windshield channel, aligning clips with their mounting locations and pressing evenly along the length until the molding sits flush.
- Reinstall any fasteners removed earlier and inspect the trim for gaps or misalignment; adjust clips or molding as needed.
- Perform a final check for secure fitment by gently tugging the molding and test for wind noise or water intrusion after reinstalling.
