Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, lower the window glass partway to access mounting points, and disconnect the battery if the door has powered components.
- Carefully remove the inner door panel: pry off trim pieces, remove screws/fasteners, and lift the panel away to expose the window regulator and channel.
- Peel back the vapor barrier or protective sheet as needed to access the channel pocket; keep the barrier intact for reinstallation.
- If required, detach the window from the regulator (support the glass) and move it to a position that gives good access to the channel pocket.
- Remove any retaining clips or old adhesive and pull out the worn glass run channel. Use a utility knife to cut stubborn sections if necessary, and clear out debris from the channel slot.
- Clean the channel mounting area with a rag; apply a light coat of soapy water or silicone lubricant to the new channel to ease installation.
- Insert the new right-hand glass run channel (GRR 3120 02) into the channel slot, starting at the top and working downward. Ensure the channel seats fully in all factory mounting locations and clips engage.
- Reposition the glass into the new channel, reconnect the regulator or electrical attachments, and cycle the window several times to confirm smooth operation and proper alignment.
- Reattach the vapor barrier, reinstall the door panel and trim, and secure all fasteners. Test the window again to verify there are no rattles, binding, or leaks.
- Perform a final inspection for proper sealing and adjust the channel/window knocks if necessary to eliminate any remaining gaps or noise.
