A right-hand, 2-piece glass run channel kit engineered as a direct-fit replacement for applications requiring GRK 3110 94 R. This kit restores proper window alignment and sealing, guiding the door glass smoothly while preventing wind noise, water intrusion, and premature glass wear. Constructed from weather-resistant materials and reinforced where needed for long-lasting performance, it’s ideal for restoration or routine maintenance to return the window assembly to factory-like operation. Verify your vehicle fitment before purchase.
Features:
- Durable EPDM rubber construction with integrated metal or nylon retainer for secure seating
- Guides and aligns door glass to reduce wind noise, vibration, and rubbing wear
- Seals the window opening to prevent water intrusion and minimize drafts
- Direct-replacement design for straightforward installation and correct fitment when matched to GRK 3110 94 R applications
- Ideal for restoration and repair of worn or damaged window channels to restore factory operation
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Prepare the vehicle: fully raise the door glass, disconnect the negative battery terminal if desired for safety, and work with the window in the up position.
- Remove the interior door panel: remove screws and clips, use a trim tool to pry the panel free, and carefully disconnect any electrical connectors and the door handle linkage.
- Peel back the vapor barrier or protective sheet enough to access the glass run channel mounting area without tearing it.
- Remove the old channel: loosen or remove any retaining clips or screws, gently pull the worn channel out of the door frame and off the glass. Take care not to damage the glass or internal linkages.
- Clean the mounting area: remove old adhesive residue and dirt using rubbing alcohol and a clean rag. Ensure surfaces are dry before installing the new channel.
- Lubricate the new channel lightly with soapy water or silicone spray to ease installation and prevent pinching of the glass.
- Install the new channel: align the new right-hand channel (GRK 3110 94 R orientation) into the door frame and seat it into the retainer points. Start at one end and work toward the other, ensuring the channel fully engages any metal or nylon retainers.
- Reinstall any clips or fasteners removed earlier and slowly cycle the window up and down several times to confirm smooth operation and proper alignment. Make minor adjustments if the window binds or does not seal correctly.
- Reattach the vapor barrier, reassemble the interior door panel, reconnect electrical connectors, and verify final window operation and sealing.
