Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Park on a level surface and wear gloves and eye protection.
- Carefully warm the old molding with a heat gun or hair dryer to soften adhesive and make removal easier (optional).
- Use a plastic trim removal tool or flat-blade screwdriver to pry the old molding away from the windshield edge, working along the length to release clips or adhesive.
- Remove any remaining clips or adhesive residue from the pinch weld and clean the area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new molding along the windshield top to confirm orientation and clip alignment.
- Starting at one end, press the new molding into place, engaging clips or the retainer lip; work along the length and apply firm, even pressure to seat the molding fully.
- Trim any excess material if necessary and re-check that all clips are secure and the molding sits flush with the windshield and body.
- Inspect for gaps and test for water-tightness after installation by running a light stream of water along the top edge.
