A direct-fit rear window weatherstrip engineered for 1967-1969 Plymouth Barracuda 2-door coupe (notchback). This seal secures and cushions the rear glass, prevents water intrusion, reduces wind noise and vibration, and restores original fit and appearance. Molded from a premium EPDM rubber compound for long-lasting resistance to ozone, UV and temperature extremes, it offers reliable sealing performance and easy installation for restoration or replacement projects.
Features:
  • Fits 1967-1969 Plymouth Barracuda 2 Dr Coupe (notchback).
  • Molded EPDM rubber construction for durable, weather-resistant sealing.
  • Seals rear glass to prevent leaks, drafts and wind noise.
  • Provides proper glass alignment and cushions against vibration and damage.
  • Direct replacement for worn or cracked factory seals — ideal for restorations.
  • Designed for easy installation with a secure, OEM-style fit.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 1-2 hours
Suggested Tools:
  • Plastic trim removal tool or flat plastic pry
  • Flat-blade screwdriver (wrapped with tape to protect metal)
  • Utility knife or razor blade
  • Soapy water or silicone lubricant
  • Clean rags
  • Masking tape
  • Gloves
Instructions:
  1. Work in a clean, dry, well-lit area and wear gloves to protect the new seal.
  2. Carefully remove the interior trim and any moldings that retain the old weatherstrip to access the window channel.
  3. If the glass must be lowered or removed, follow appropriate glass-removal procedures for your vehicle; otherwise, leave glass in place if accessible.
  4. Remove the old weatherstrip by prying gently with a plastic trim tool; cut away stubborn sections with a utility knife and clean the channel thoroughly to remove old adhesive, dirt and corrosion.
  5. Test-fit the new weatherstrip by laying it along the channel to verify orientation and length. Trim excess if necessary with a sharp knife.
  6. Lubricate the channel and weatherstrip lip lightly with soapy water or silicone lubricant to ease installation.
  7. Starting at one corner, press the new seal into the channel, working around the window and ensuring the bulb and lip fully seat into the channel. Use masking tape to hold sections in place if needed while working.
  8. Reinstall any molding, trim and interior pieces removed earlier. Allow any lubricant to evaporate and inspect for uniform seating and gaps.
  9. Perform a water test (hose) or visual inspection to confirm there are no leaks and that the glass seals evenly.
