A right-hand quarter window weatherstrip seal engineered to restore a tight, weatherproof fit around the quarter glass. The profile includes an integrated trim groove to accept exterior molding, securing trim and protecting the glass edge while preventing water intrusion, wind noise, and vibration. Constructed from durable, ozone- and UV-resistant elastomer, this seal provides long-lasting flexibility and reliable sealing performance. Designed for vehicles using the WCR DQ3121 right-hand quarter window profile; verify fitment against your vehicle’s parts catalog before purchase.
Features:
- Right-hand quarter window weatherstrip with integrated trim groove (WCR DQ3121 profile)
- Durable EPDM-style elastomer resists UV, ozone, and temperature extremes
- Trim groove accepts exterior molding for a secure, finished appearance
- Seals against water, dust, and wind to reduce leaks and road noise
- Restoration-quality replacement for worn or damaged original seals
- Flexible, retains shape over time to maintain proper glass alignment
- Simple slide-in installation with optional adhesive for extra retention
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-45 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground and lower the window (if applicable) to access the quarter channel.
- Carefully remove the old weatherstrip: pry out any retained molding and peel the old seal away from the channel.
- Clean the channel thoroughly with a cloth and isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, adhesive residue, and debris. Let dry.
- Test-fit the new seal along the channel to confirm orientation (this is the right-hand piece) and length; trim excess with a razor or shears if necessary.
- Apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel if your application requires extra retention (many installs will hold without adhesive).
- Lubricate the new seal lightly with soapy water or silicone spray to ease installation, then engage the trim groove with any exterior molding and press the seal into the channel starting at one end and working to the other.
- Ensure the seal seats fully around corners and along the glass edge; use a plastic trim tool to press it into place without damaging the material.
- Allow adhesive to cure per the manufacturer’s instructions (if used), reinstall any removed trim pieces, and test the window operation and seal for leaks.
