Instructions:
  1. Park on level ground, engage parking brake and loosen the wheel lug nuts slightly.
  2. Raise the vehicle and secure on jack stands, then remove the wheel to access the tie rod end.
  3. Mark the position of the old tie rod end on the threaded adjuster or count turns to preserve alignment settings.
  4. Remove the cotter pin (if present) and loosen the castle nut securing the tie rod end to the steering knuckle.
  5. Separate the tie rod end from the steering knuckle using a tie rod end puller or a pickle fork; avoid damaging the knuckle.
  6. Unscrew the tie rod end from the inner tie rod/adjuster the same number of turns counted or until the marks align.
  7. Thread the new tie rod end onto the adjuster to the marked position, then insert the ball stud into the knuckle and hand-tighten the supplied nut.
  8. Torque the tie rod nut to the vehicle specification, then insert and bend a new cotter pin if required.
  9. Reinstall the wheel, lower the vehicle, torque the lug nuts to specification, and perform a professional wheel alignment as soon as possible.
