Sway bar link designed to restore proper stabilizer bar connection and handling for select 1994–2007 Audi, Cadillac, Chrysler, Dodge, Eagle, and Mitsubishi vehicles. This direct-fit link (front or rear, right or left as required by vehicle application) secures the sway bar to the suspension, reducing body roll, improving cornering stability, and eliminating clunks or loose steering feel. Built for durability and reliability, the link offers corrosion resistance and robust construction to withstand road stresses and return the vehicle to factory-like performance.
Features:
- Fitment: 1994–2007 Audi, Cadillac, Chrysler, Dodge, Eagle, and Mitsubishi — front or rear, right or left depending on vehicle application.
- Direct-fit replacement engineered to match OE mounting points and restore original handling.
- High-strength steel construction with corrosion-resistant finish for long life.
- Reduces body roll, stabilizes handling, and eliminates sway bar noise and looseness.
- Includes or accepts factory-style bushings/fasteners for a secure connection.
- Simple installation suitable for routine suspension maintenance or restoration projects.
- Durable design ideal for both daily driving and performance-oriented use.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes per side
Instructions:
- Park on a level surface, engage parking brake, and chock the opposite wheels.
- Loosen lug nuts slightly if removing the wheel; raise the vehicle with a jack and support securely on jack stands.
- Remove the wheel for better access if necessary.
- Locate the sway bar link connecting the sway bar to the control arm or strut (front or rear as applicable).
- Apply penetrating oil to mounting nuts/bolts and allow time to soak if corroded.
- Hold the link stud with a wrench and remove the nut(s) securing the link to the sway bar and control arm/strut.
- Remove the old sway bar link. If frozen, use a pry bar or impact tools carefully to avoid damage.
- Install the new sway bar link in the same orientation as the removed unit; hand-thread nuts to start.
- Tighten fasteners to the manufacturer's specified torque using a torque wrench.
- Reinstall the wheel if removed, lower the vehicle, and torque the wheel lug nuts to specification.
- Test drive at low speed to confirm elimination of noise and restored handling; recheck fastener torque after a short drive.
