Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, engage parking brake, and place wheel chocks behind rear wheels.
- Raise the front of the vehicle with a jack and secure it on jack stands; remove the front wheel on the side being serviced.
- Locate the sway bar link connecting the sway bar to the control arm or strut assembly.
- Apply penetrating oil to mounting nuts and bolts if they appear corroded; allow time to soak.
- Hold the link stud with a wrench or hex tool and remove the nut(s) securing the link to the sway bar and control arm/strut. If necessary, use a second wrench to hold the stud.
- Remove the old sway bar link. You may need a pry bar or rubber mallet to free a stuck link.
- Compare the new link to the old part to confirm correct orientation and length.
- Install the new link in the same orientation as the original; hand-thread nuts to hold it in place.
- Tighten mounting hardware to manufacturer torque specifications using a torque wrench.
