Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface, disconnect negative battery terminal if required for airbag-equipped doors.
- Carefully remove the interior door panel and any trim pieces to expose the inner door shell and window mechanism.
- Peel back the vapor barrier or moisture seal to access the glass run channel mounting area.
- Lower or raise the window as needed to free the glass from the old channel; support the glass with tape if necessary.
- Remove fasteners, clips, or adhesive securing the old run channel and pull the old channel out of the track.
- Clean the channel mounting area, removing old adhesive, debris, and rust with a rag and appropriate cleaner.
- Apply a light coating of silicone spray or rubber lubricant inside the new channel to ease installation and reduce initial friction.
- Insert the new left-hand glass run channel into the door, aligning top and bottom ends and securing any clips or fasteners provided; trim excess if required.
- Test window operation slowly to confirm smooth travel and proper sealing, then reinstall the vapor barrier, door panel, and trim. Verify final fit and check for wind noise or water leaks.
