Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and fully open the door for access to the beltline area.
- Inspect the existing molding for fasteners, clips, or adhesive; remove any visible screws or trim fasteners with the appropriate screwdriver or socket.
- Use a plastic trim removal tool to carefully pry the old molding away from the door edge, working along its length to release clips without damaging paint or glass.
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or adhesive cleaner to remove dirt, wax, and old adhesive residue. Allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new molding along the beltline to confirm orientation and clip alignment before final installation.
- Starting at one end, align the new molding and press firmly into place so that clips engage or the profile seats fully against the door edge; if adhesive is required, apply sparingly per adhesive instructions and hold in position until set.
- Reinstall any fasteners or seals removed during disassembly and trim any excess material if necessary.
- Close and open the door to verify proper clearance with the window and ensure the molding is seated evenly along the entire length.
