Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground and fully open the door(s) where the molding will be replaced.
- Carefully pry up the old beltline molding using a plastic trim tool; if required, use a taped flat-blade screwdriver to release stubborn clips.
- Remove any remaining clips or adhesive from the door edge; use needle-nose pliers to extract broken clips.
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, adhesive residue, and grease; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new molding along the beltline to confirm orientation (left vs. right) and clip alignment.
- Starting at one end, align the molding with the door edge and press firmly into position so each clip engages the door channel — work along the length to seat all clips.
- If equipped with any end caps or retainers, secure them per fitment; trim minor excess only if necessary and recommended.
- Close and open the door a few times to verify fit and that the window clears the molding; inspect the seal for gaps and make small adjustments if needed.
