Instructions:
- Remove interior trim and any retainers to access the quarter window channel and old weatherstrip.
- Carefully pull out the old weatherstrip. Use a utility knife to cut away stubborn sections and an adhesive remover to clean remaining residue from the channel.
- Thoroughly clean the channel with isopropyl alcohol and a clean rag; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new weatherstrip (QWR 3411 68) into the channel to confirm orientation and seating. Trim any excess if necessary.
- Lightly lubricate the seal with silicone spray or soapy water to ease installation. If your application requires, apply a thin coat of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel per adhesive instructions.
- Starting at one end, press the weatherstrip into the channel, working slowly and evenly around corners. Use a rubber mallet or block to seat the seal without damaging it.
- Trim any overhang cleanly with a utility knife and reinstall interior trim and retainers.
- If adhesive was used, allow recommended cure time (typically 24 hours) before exposing to water or closing the window repeatedly.
