Instructions:
- Park the vehicle on a level surface and remove the hard top per vehicle service instructions.
- Carefully remove the old weatherstrip seals using a trim tool or flat-head screwdriver; avoid damaging the mounting flange.
- Clean the sealing surfaces thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, grease and old adhesive residue; allow to dry.
- Test-fit each new seal to verify orientation and fit; trim any excess if necessary.
- If the kit requires adhesive, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the flange or seal as recommended by the adhesive manufacturer.
- Position the new seal into the channel or onto the flange, pressing firmly along the length to seat it fully. Use masking tape to hold the seal in place while adhesive cures, if applicable.
- Reinstall the hard top and check for proper alignment and compression of the seals. Make any small adjustments to ensure a uniform seal.
- Allow adhesive to cure per the adhesive instructions (if used), then perform a water test and road test to confirm leak-free, quiet operation.
