Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, disconnect battery if required by vehicle, and wear safety gear.
- Remove exterior trim, molding, wipers, and any accessories that obstruct the windshield.
- Carefully cut and remove the old windshield adhesive using an appropriate cutting tool; work slowly to avoid damaging the pinch weld.
- Using suction cups, lift out the old windshield with a helper and dispose of it according to local regulations.
- Clean and degrease the pinch weld area thoroughly; remove any rust and old adhesive residue.
- Apply primer to the pinch weld and the new windshield bonding surface as specified by the adhesive manufacturer; allow recommended flash time.
- Load urethane adhesive into the caulking gun and apply a continuous bead to the pinch weld at the manufacturer-recommended profile and thickness.
- With a helper using suction cups, carefully position and set the DL01004 CLN windshield into place, pressing evenly to seat it in the urethane bead. Align to factory gaps before the adhesive skins.
- Reinstall trim, molding, and wipers. Use painter’s tape to hold the windshield in position if needed while curing.
- Allow adhesive to cure per the urethane manufacturer’s instructions before driving (typical safe drive-away time varies; full cure may take 24 hours).
- After cure, inspect seals and trim for proper fit. Reconnect battery and test any electronic components affected by the replacement.
