Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Open the door and, if needed, remove the interior trim or molding that blocks access to the lockstrip joint.
- Carefully remove the old or damaged clip by prying it off with a trim tool or by using needle-nose pliers.
- Clean the mating area and lockstrip ends of dirt, old adhesive, and corrosion; wipe dry.
- Align the two lockstrip/weatherstrip ends so the joint sits flush and in correct orientation.
- Position the new LJC 1027 B clip over the joint and press firmly until it snaps into place. Use a small rubber mallet or pliers with a protective pad if extra force is required—avoid deforming the strip.
- Check alignment and seal continuity along the strip, then reinstall any removed trim pieces and test the door for proper closing, noise, and water sealing.
