Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Park on a flat surface, set the parking brake, and protect surrounding paint with tape or cloth.
- Remove the windshield wipers and any trim or hardware that obstructs the molding using a screwdriver or socket set.
- Carefully pry out and remove the old windshield molding and any retaining clips. Cut away any adhesive or damaged sections with a utility knife if necessary.
- Clean the windshield channel and surrounding pinch weld thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, old adhesive, and residue.
- Dry-fit the new molding and hardware to verify orientation and clip locations before final installation.
- Apply a light spray of soapy water or silicone lubricant to the channel to ease installation (avoid heavy oils that attract dirt).
- Starting at one corner, press the new molding into the channel, aligning clips and features as you go. Work slowly to ensure an even, fully seated fit.
- Reinstall any removed hardware and the windshield wipers. Trim any excess molding if required using a utility knife.
- Inspect the seal for gaps, test for leaks with a light water spray, and allow any lubricant to dry before driving.
