Instructions:
- Park the vehicle on a level surface, set the parking brake, and wear safety gloves and eye protection.
- Carefully pry out the windshield molding using a plastic trim tool to expose the existing clips; use a flathead screwdriver or pliers for stubborn clips.
- Remove old or broken clips from the channel and clean the channel with a rag and rubbing alcohol to remove dirt and adhesive residue.
- Compare new clips to originals to confirm correct orientation and clip type before installation.
- Align the molding along the windshield edge and position new clips into the molding or channel where the old clips were removed, spacing per the vehicle's OEM pattern.
- Push each clip firmly into place until it snaps or seats fully in the channel; use needle-nose pliers for final seating if needed.
- Reinstall the molding by pressing it into the clips and along the windshield edge, confirming each clip engages and the molding sits flush.
- Inspect the entire perimeter for gaps, test for secure retention by gently tugging the molding, and allow any sealant (if used) to cure per product directions.
