Instructions:
- Park on a level surface, engage parking brake, and lower the window for easier access.
- Carefully remove the old beltline molding using a plastic trim tool and screwdriver to disengage clips; keep any reusable clips if undamaged.
- Thoroughly clean the mounting surface of dirt, adhesive residue, and grease with isopropyl alcohol; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new left and right moldings to confirm orientation and alignment with factory mounting points.
- If the kit requires adhesive or tape, apply adhesive promoter per product instructions and attach double-sided automotive tape to the molding backing or apply adhesive as recommended.
- Align the molding to the door edge and press firmly along its length to engage clips or bond tape/adhesive. Use a heat gun lightly in cold weather to improve flexibility if necessary.
- Recheck alignment and ensure all clip locations are engaged. Wipe away any excess adhesive and allow bonded areas to cure per adhesive manufacturer recommendations.
- Raise and lower the window a few times to verify proper clearance and that the molding does not interfere with window operation.
