Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground and use gloves for protection.
- Carefully remove the windshield molding or trim: pry gently with a plastic trim tool to avoid scratching paint or glass.
- Inspect the molding channel and vehicle flange; clean mating surfaces with isopropyl alcohol to remove old adhesive and debris.
- Remove any broken or old clips from the molding and vehicle flange using pliers or a screwdriver as needed.
- Align a new clip with the molding channel or the vehicle flange (depending on OEM orientation).
- Press the clip firmly until it snaps into place — you should feel or hear a light click when fully seated.
- Reposition the molding over the installed clips and press the molding into the clips until fully engaged along the run.
- Check all clip locations for secure fit and even alignment; replace any clips that do not hold firmly.
- Re-clean the area and allow any disturbed sealant or adhesive to cure per manufacturer recommendations before driving.
