Instructions:
- Carefully remove the old vent glass weatherstrip(s) and any retained debris from the channel.
- Clean the channel and mating surfaces thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and let dry.
- Test-fit the new left and right seals in the channel to confirm orientation and length.
- If recommended or desired, apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive into the channel.
- Starting at one end, press the new seal into the channel, working along its length and ensuring the seal seats evenly. Use a plastic trim tool or wrapped screwdriver to avoid damage.
- Trim any excess material for a flush fit if necessary and secure with masking tape while adhesive cures (follow adhesive cure time).
- After cure, inspect the seal for gaps, operate the vent glass to verify smooth movement, and adjust as needed.
