Instructions:
- Lower the window glass to a position where you can access the top of the glass and the run channel.
- Remove the door panel: remove screws, trim pieces, armrest and unplug any electrical connectors; carefully pry off panel clips with a trim tool.
- Peel back or remove the plastic water shield to expose the inner door cavity and window track.
- If necessary, raise or lower the glass to free it from the old channel; support the glass with tape or have an assistant hold it in place.
- Carefully remove the old glass run channel by pulling it out of the window track starting at one end; use pliers for stubborn sections.
- Clean the window track and channel seating area of dirt, adhesive residue, and debris; wipe with a clean rag.
- Lubricate the new channel lightly with silicone spray or soapy water to aid installation.
- Install the new glass run channel into the track (start top-first if applicable), seating it firmly along the full length and ensuring correct orientation for left-hand/front door.
- Lower the glass into the new channel and check for smooth operation and proper alignment; adjust if needed.
- Reinstall the water shield and door panel, reconnect any electrical connectors, and test the window operation several times to confirm proper fit and sealing.
