Instructions:
- Park on a level surface, lower the window slightly if needed, and disconnect the battery if working near power components.
- Carefully remove any interior trim or door panel sections that obstruct access to the beltline molding using a trim tool to avoid damaging panels.
- Locate and remove fasteners or retainers securing the old molding. Use a screwdriver or socket set as required.
- Gently pry the old molding away from the beltline, working along its length to free any clips. Save reusable clips or replace damaged ones.
- Clean the mounting channel and surrounding surface with solvent and a lint-free cloth to remove dirt and adhesive residue.
- Align the new outer left-hand molding with the beltline channel, ensuring correct orientation and clip locations.
- Press the molding firmly into place along its entire length so clips engage; reinstall any screws or retainers removed earlier.
- Reinstall interior trim or door panel components, verify fit and finish, and test for proper seal and reduced wind noise.
