Instructions:
- Lower the window glass slightly so the top edge clears the vertical post area.
- Remove the interior door panel and any trim necessary to access the vertical post channel.
- Carefully pry out and remove the old glass run channel using a trim tool; cut away any bonded sections with a utility knife if required.
- Clean the vertical post and surrounding mounting surfaces with isopropyl alcohol to remove adhesive residue and dirt.
- Test-fit the new channel (GRB 6120 84) on the vertical post to confirm orientation and fit (left vs. right hand).
- Apply a light coating of silicone spray or soapy water inside the channel to ease installation and protect the rubber during initial glass operation.
- Starting at the top, slide the new channel onto the vertical post and work it down into place, ensuring the channel seats fully along the post.
- Cycle the window up and down several times to confirm smooth travel and proper sealing. Adjust as needed.
- Reinstall the door panel and any removed trim, and perform a final check for leaks and noise.
