The Precision Beltline Molding and Glass Run Channel Kit (Left & Right, 8-piece WFK 3111 72) replaces worn or damaged beltline trim and window glass run channels to restore proper window sealing, alignment, and operation. Designed to secure the lower edge of the window glass, prevent water intrusion and wind noise, and protect the door finish, this kit provides durable, OE-style components that help renew appearance and function for vehicles needing beltline and glass-run restoration. Durable materials and precise profiles deliver reliable fit and long-lasting performance while simplifying reassembly.
Features:
- Complete left and right side 8-piece kit replaces beltline molding and glass run channels.
- High-quality EPDM rubber runs with corrosion-resistant metal channels for long life.
- Restores proper window seal to reduce wind noise and prevent water intrusion.
- OEM-style fit and profiles for accurate alignment and smooth window operation.
- Easy-to-install pieces designed for restoration and replacement applications.
- Durable construction resists weathering, shrinking, and cracking over time.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 3/5
- Estimated time: 1–2 hours (both sides)
Instructions:
- Lower the window glass to a position that allows access to the glass run channel; disconnect the battery if required by vehicle procedures.
- Remove the interior door panel and any water shields or fasteners blocking access to the beltline molding and channel.
- Carefully pry out the old beltline molding and glass run channel, noting the location of any clips or screws; retain hardware if reusable or replace with new clips.
- Clean the mounting area thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or trim cleaner to remove dirt, adhesive residue, and corrosion.
- Test-fit the new metal channel and rubber run in the beltline to confirm orientation and fit; trim excess if the kit requires minor length adjustments.
- Apply a light coat of silicone spray or channel lubricant inside the new run to ease glass movement and installation.
- Seat the new channel into the beltline, aligning and engaging factory clip locations; press firmly along the full length to ensure full engagement and even fit.
- Install the new beltline molding over the channel, securing any screws or clips as required. Use masking tape to hold sections in place while clips engage if needed.
- Reinstall door panel, water shield, and any removed hardware. Cycle the window several times to confirm smooth operation and check for leaks or wind noise.
- Make final adjustments as needed and clean the area for a finished appearance.
