Instructions:
- Lower the window fully (or to a position recommended by the vehicle service manual) to access the molding area.
- Remove any interior trim or door panel sections necessary to reach the inner edge of the beltline molding using a trim removal tool and appropriate screwdrivers or sockets.
- Carefully pry out the existing molding by releasing retaining clips or removing screws; retain any reusable fasteners and note their locations.
- Clean the mounting channel thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and a clean rag to remove dirt, old adhesive, and residue.
- Test-fit the new molding along the beltline to confirm orientation (inner left vs. right) and clip/fastener locations.
- Align the molding with the mounting holes/channels and press firmly to engage clips or reinstall screws. Use masking tape to hold sections in position if needed while securing.
- Reinstall any removed interior trim or door panel pieces and confirm the window operates smoothly and seals correctly.
- Replace any broken clips or fasteners and perform a final visual inspection for proper fit and finish.
