This 10-piece door weatherstrip seal kit (DK 3110 98) is designed for 1998–2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab and includes left- and right-side glassruns, beltlines and door seals to restore proper door sealing and window alignment. The kit replaces worn, cracked or missing seals to prevent water intrusion, reduce wind noise and vibration, and protect the interior from the elements. Instructions:
- Lower the window glass to a mid or down position and disconnect the negative battery terminal if desired for safety.
- Remove the interior door panel: remove screws, pry off trim clips with a trim tool, and unplug any electrical connectors.
- Carefully lift the glass slightly and, if necessary, secure it in the fully up position or support it to prevent movement while working.
- Remove the old beltline, glassrun and door seals: pry out the beltline and pull the glassrun out of the channel. Remove adhesive residue with cleaner and a rag.
- Clean the channel and mating surfaces thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or adhesive cleaner; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new glassrun and beltline — orient each piece to match the factory profile and door side (left/right).
- Apply a light bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel only if the new part requires adhesive (many press-fit pieces do not).
- Insert the glassrun into the door channel starting at one end and press it into place, ensuring the inner lip seats against the glass path. Slide the beltline into its groove and press firmly along its length.
- Operate the window slowly to confirm smooth movement and proper alignment; adjust seating as needed.
- Reinstall the door panel and trim, reconnect any electrical plugs, and perform a final check for leaks and noise. Apply silicone lubricant to the seals for extra protection and smooth operation.
