Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and work in a shaded, dry area.
- Carefully remove the old weatherstrip: use trim tool and protected screwdriver to pry out the retaining channel and peel away the old seal.
- Scrape away old adhesive and debris with a razor blade, taking care not to damage the roof rail finish.
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new left-hand seal (RWR 3110 74) along the roof rail to confirm orientation and fit; trim excess if necessary.
- Apply a thin, even coat of recommended weatherstrip adhesive to the roof rail and the seal’s retention channel as directed by the adhesive manufacturer.
- Press the seal into place starting at one end and working along the rail; use clamps or masking tape to hold the seal while the adhesive sets.
- Wipe away any excess adhesive promptly and allow the adhesive to cure per the product instructions before exposing to water or driving.
- Inspect the seal for gaps and adjust if needed. Reinstall any trim pieces removed during disassembly.
