Instructions:
- Carefully remove the interior trim and any retaining hardware to expose the quarter window channel.
- Pull out the old weatherstrip and remove any adhesive residue or debris from the channel.
- Clean the channel thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new weatherstrip along the channel to confirm orientation (left-hand piece).
- Lightly mist the mounting channel or the seal with soapy water or a rubber lubricant to aid installation.
- Start at the top corner of the window and press the seal lip into the channel, working slowly toward each end so the seal seats evenly.
- Trim any excess material with scissors or a utility knife, if necessary, and ensure the seal ends meet cleanly.
- Reinstall interior trim and any hardware, then check the window operation and inspect for gaps.
- Perform a water test (garden hose) or visually inspect for leaks after installation and adjust if needed.
