This 48-piece windshield molding clip kit (PCK-671-66) is designed to replace worn or missing clips that secure windshield moldings on 2-door hardtop and convertible models. Proper molding retention keeps the windshield sealed, reduces wind noise and water intrusion, and preserves the sheetmetal finish around the glass. The kit contains a full complement of durable, corrosion-resistant clips engineered for reliable fit and long service life, making it ideal for restoration projects or routine maintenance. Easy to install and made to restore factory fitment, these clips help ensure a clean, secure molding installation and professional-looking results.

- Complete 48-piece set includes all commonly needed clips for a full windshield molding installation
- Corrosion-resistant material for long-lasting durability and reliable holding power
- Restores proper molding alignment to reduce wind noise and prevent water leaks

Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and protect surrounding trim with tape or rags.
- Carefully remove the windshield molding by prying with a trim tool or protected flathead screwdriver, working slowly to avoid bending the molding.
- Remove any old clips from the molding channel and the body pin locations; use pliers if necessary.
- Clean the molding channel and body pin posts of dirt, adhesive, and corrosion; wipe dry.
- Test-fit new clips on the molding or onto the body posts to confirm orientation and spacing.
- Press new clips onto the molding or onto the body posts (depending on clip type) until they snap fully into place. Ensure clips are aligned and evenly spaced.
- Re-seat the windshield molding over the clips, starting at one edge and working around the glass, pressing firmly so each clip engages securely.
- Inspect the molding for even fit and proper seating. Adjust any clips that did not fully engage.
- Allow any lubricant or soapy residue to dry, then clean the finished trim area. Replace any trim fasteners or screws you removed.
