The Precision Windshield Molding WFS D1212 RC is a direct-replacement windshield molding designed to secure and seal the glass while restoring the vehicle's original appearance. Engineered to provide a tight, weather-resistant seal, this molding helps prevent water intrusion, reduce wind noise and vibration, and protect the windshield edge from road debris and corrosion. Constructed from durable, weather-resistant materials and finished for a factory look, it offers reliable long-term performance and straightforward installation. Verify vehicle compatibility by matching the WFS D1212 RC part number to your year, make and model before purchase.

- Designed for restoration and maintenance applications — replaces worn, cracked, or missing molding.

Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 3/5
- Estimated time: 30-90 minutes
Instructions:
- Park the vehicle on a flat surface and protect surrounding paint with masking tape or towels.
- Carefully remove any outer trim pieces or clips that secure the old molding using trim tools and screwdrivers; keep fasteners if reusable.
- Gently pry out the old molding. If bonded or stuck, cut through adhesive with a razor blade and peel away slowly to avoid damaging the windshield or pinch channel.
- Clean the windshield pinch channel and surrounding area thoroughly with a mild solvent or isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, old adhesive, and residue. Allow to dry completely.
- Dry-fit the new WFS D1212 RC molding to confirm alignment and fit around the entire perimeter of the windshield.
- If adhesive is required by your vehicle application, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the pinch channel according to the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
- Starting at one corner, press the new molding into the pinch channel, working around the windshield. Use firm, even pressure or a soft-faced mallet to seat the molding fully into the channel. Ensure end caps and corners are seated correctly.
- Reinstall any trim pieces or fasteners removed earlier and secure them to factory torque or snugness.
- Allow any adhesive to cure per the adhesive manufacturer's recommended time before driving (typically 1–24 hours). Check for proper sealing and finish.
