Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Park on a level surface and protect surrounding trim with masking tape or rags.
- Carefully pry out and remove the old windshield molding. If bonded, use a utility knife to cut adhesive and lift the molding free.
- Clean the windshield flange and channel thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or an appropriate cleaner to remove old adhesive, dirt, and residue. Allow to dry.
- Dry-fit the new molding to confirm orientation and fit. Note any clips or ends that must align with body features.
- Lightly lubricate the molding lip with soapy water or rubber lubricant to aid installation.
- Starting at the top center of the windshield, align the molding and press it into the channel. Work outward toward each corner, firmly seating the molding into the flange.
- Use a plastic trim tool or a rubber mallet (light taps) to fully tuck the molding lip into place. Ensure ends and any clip locations are properly seated.
- Wipe away excess lubricant, inspect the seal for uniform contact, and allow any lubricant to evaporate before driving. Test for leaks after installation by gently spraying water around the windshield edge.
