Instructions:
- Park on a level surface and lower the window slightly (if vehicle allows) to access the beltline area.
- Carefully remove the old molding: use a trim tool to disengage clips or remove fasteners; if bonded, gently heat to soften adhesive then pry away.
- Remove any remaining adhesive, clips, or corrosion; clean the mounting surface with rubbing alcohol and a lint-free cloth and allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new left and right moldings to ensure proper alignment with door edges and mounting holes.
- If clip-mounted, align the molding and press firmly until clips engage; if adhesive-mounted, apply adhesive per manufacturer instructions or use supplied tape, align, hold in position, and secure with masking tape until cured.
- Reinstall any fasteners removed earlier and operate the window to confirm there is no binding or interference.
- Clean the installed moldings and surrounding area, and allow any adhesive to fully cure before driving (follow adhesive cure time if used).
