Instructions:
- Lower the window fully to give clearance for the molding.
- Carefully remove any interior door trim or weatherstrip obstructing access to the beltline molding if applicable.
- Use a plastic trim removal tool or flathead screwdriver (protected with tape) to gently pry out the old molding, releasing the clips along its length; remove any remaining clips or adhesive residue.
- Clean the mounting channel thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or a mild cleaner and a microfiber cloth; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new molding to confirm orientation (inner left/right) and alignment before final installation.
- Starting at the front end of the channel, press the new molding into place and engage the clips one-by-one along the length until fully seated.
- Ensure both ends and corners are properly seated and that the window moves up and down without interference.
- Reinstall any removed interior trim or weatherstripping and perform a final inspection for secure fit and proper seal.
