Precision-fit rear window weatherstrip for 1968-1969 Plymouth Barracuda 2-door Hardtop (Fastback). This seal replaces the worn or cracked original rubber around the rear glass to secure the window, prevent water intrusion, reduce wind noise, and protect the body flange from corrosion. Molded from durable EPDM-style rubber for long-lasting resilience and a factory-correct profile, it aligns with the chrome trim and body clips for an authentic restoration. Easy to install with common hand tools, it delivers reliable sealing performance and restores the OEM fit and appearance.

Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park the car on a level surface and protect paint around the rear opening with masking tape or towels.
- Remove the chrome trim and any retainers that secure the old weatherstrip; keep or replace body clips as needed.
- Carefully pull out the old weatherstrip and clean the window channel and flange with a scraper and clean rags to remove adhesive, dirt, and corrosion.
- Test-fit the new weatherstrip around the glass to familiarize yourself with orientation; allow new rubber to relax at room temperature if stiff.
- Apply soapy water or a dedicated rubber lubricant to the channel and the weatherstrip bulb to ease installation.
- Begin seating the weatherstrip at one corner, working around the perimeter and pressing the seal firmly into the channel. Use a plastic trim tool or rubber mallet (light taps) to fully seat the lip without damaging paint.
- Reinstall chrome trim and secure with the appropriate body clips (Works With Chrome Trim in Body Clips WCR DB3847). Replace any brittle or missing clips.
- Check the glass fit for even compression and alignment. Close the trunk and check for leaks by gently spraying water around the sealed area.
- If needed, adjust seating or trim excess rubber for final fit. Allow lubricant to dry before driving.
