Instructions:
- Carefully remove the old beltline molding: loosen any screws or clips and use a trim removal tool to pry the molding away without damaging the paint.
- Clean the mounting channel thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove old adhesive, dirt, and wax. Allow to dry.
- Test-fit each new molding piece in position to confirm orientation (left/right, front/rear) and identify any trimming points.
- If trimming is required, mark the cut line with masking tape, then trim the molding with a fine-tooth hacksaw or snips. Deburr cut edges with a file.
- Install any supplied clips or apply a thin bead of appropriate adhesive/sealant to the mounting surface if recommended for your vehicle.
- Press the molding firmly into the channel, engaging clips or seating the molding fully along its length. Reinstall any fasteners removed earlier.
- Seal the ends or joints as needed to prevent water entry and wipe away excess sealant. Inspect the fit and alignment, and make final adjustments as necessary.
