Precision Beltline Molding, Rear Outer Left Hand WFL 6121 84 is a direct-fit exterior trim replacement designed to restore the rear left outer beltline area to factory appearance and function. It secures the lower edge of the window/weatherstrip, helps prevent water intrusion and paint damage, and provides a finished look on vehicles that originally used the WFL 6121 84 part. Built with a corrosion-resistant metal substrate and a factory-style finish, this molding offers long-term durability, reliable fitment, and straightforward installation—ideal for restorations or routine trim replacement.
Features:
  • Fits select vehicles using WFL 6121 84 rear outer left-hand beltline molding; verify year/make/model compatibility before purchase.
  • Corrosion-resistant metal construction with factory-style finish for lasting appearance.
  • Secures window edge and weatherstrip, helping prevent water intrusion and sheet metal damage.
  • Designed as a direct replacement to restore factory appearance on restoration projects.
  • Easy to install with standard trim tools; uses factory clip locations or adhesive as required.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Trim removal tool or flat screwdriver (wrapped to protect finish)
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Needle-nose pliers
  • Cleaning cloth and isopropyl alcohol
  • Replacement trim clips or automotive-grade adhesive/sealant
  • Masking tape
  • Rubber mallet (optional)
Instructions:
  1. Park on level ground and lower the window slightly (if applicable) to access the molding edge.
  2. Carefully remove the old molding by prying out retaining clips or loosening adhesive; use a trim tool to avoid scratching the paint.
  3. Remove any old clips, adhesive, and debris from the channel. Clean the surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth.
  4. Inspect and install new clips if the originals are damaged or corroded. Mask adjacent paintwork to protect the finish during installation.
  5. Position the new molding along the beltline, aligning clip holes or reference points with the vehicle’s mounting locations.
  6. Press the molding into place, engaging clips or apply automotive-grade adhesive where clips are not used. Tap gently with a rubber mallet if needed for a snug fit.
  7. Wipe away any excess adhesive and verify even fit and gap alignment across the length of the molding.
  8. Allow adhesive or sealant to cure per manufacturer instructions (if used). Recheck after a short test drive to ensure secure fitment.
