Instructions:
- Lower the window glass and remove the door panel following vehicle-specific procedures to access the beltline and glassruns.
- Carefully remove the old glassruns, beltline, and seals; take note of mounting clips or fasteners and set them aside for reuse if undamaged.
- Clean the mounting channels and surrounding metal with rubbing alcohol or solvent to remove old adhesive, dirt and residue; allow to dry.
- Dry-fit each new piece into the channel to confirm orientation and fit before applying adhesive.
- Apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel or back of the seal as recommended by the adhesive manufacturer.
- Press the new glassruns and beltlines into place, aligning mounting holes and any clips; use masking tape or clamps to hold pieces while adhesive sets.
- Trim any excess material with a utility knife for a clean finish and re-seat any clips or screws removed earlier.
- Reinstall the door panel, test window operation through its full travel, and check for smooth movement and proper sealing; adjust as needed.
