Instructions:
- Park on a level surface, open the applicable door, and support the door if needed for access.
- Carefully remove any interior trim or weatherstripping obstructing access to the beltline molding using a plastic trim tool to avoid scratching.
- Locate and remove screws or fasteners holding the old molding; gently pry the molding away from the door to release retaining clips. Take care not to bend the door skin.
- Remove any remaining clips or adhesive residue from the mounting area and clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol. Allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new molding to confirm clip and hole alignment. If provided, apply any small amounts of recommended adhesive or lubricant as instructed by vehicle guidelines.
- Align the molding with the mounting holes and press firmly along the length to engage clips. Reinstall screws or fasteners to secure the molding.
- Reinstall any interior trim or weatherstripping removed earlier. Check the molding for proper fit, flushness, and that doors open/close without interference.
- If fitment gaps or loose clips are found, remove the molding and replace any worn clips or adjust alignment before final installation.
